Mr. Awesome Affaire

Welcome to High Crest Reiners, featuring Mr. Awesome Affaire, 2007 World Champion, Senior Reining. Under the training and care of Eric LaPorte, Mr. Awesome Affaire is receiving first-place awards in NRHA reining competitions. This Appaloosa stallion became World Champion in Senior Reining at the 2007 Appaloosa World Championship Horse Show, in Fort Worth, Texas. The event took place from October 26 to November 3, 2007. In a field of 25 horses in his reining division, “Awesome” was the only Montana Competitor. The seven-year-old, few-spot Appaloosa stallion won his World Championship title shortly after winning his National Championship title in Oklahoma City the previous July.

Out of eight entries, he won seven first places and one second in his first show experience, qualifying him for world championship competition. In 2005, 2006, and 2007 he placed in the Appaloosa Horse Club National Top Ten.

Mr. Awesome Affaire has been awarded the Southeast Affiliate Reserve Championship-Open Reining by the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association). He recently became the Appaloosa Horse Club National World Champion in Senior Reining, and the Appaloosa Horse Club Museum Walk of Fame recipient.
